Vape O-rings: find the seal location
Vape O-rings can sit at several positions within a tank or mouthpiece. Identify which seal is damaged and consult the tank’s parts diagram or support information. Rings included in one kit may have different dimensions even if they share the same colour. Keep track of their intended positions during normal maintenance.
Check size and material
Use a replacement specified for the exact component. Internal diameter, cross-section and material all matter to sealing; a ring that appears close in size may still be unsuitable. Do not stretch an arbitrary household ring into place. Inspect the seating surface for damage and follow the manufacturer’s assembly instructions.
Look beyond the ring
A leaking tank does not automatically mean every seal needs replacement. Check the instructions for the tank and fitted coil, and ask the supplier if the source of the leak is unclear.
